Since
Dave Thomas opened the first Wendy’s restaurant
in 1969 in Columbus, Ohio, the concept has continuously
grown and improved. However, we have never forgotten
the most important things Dave instilled in us:

On April 1, 1993, Carolina Restaurant Group, Inc., based
in Charlotte, North Carolina, was formed. What began as a 26-store franchise has become a corporation operating two Wendy’s franchises, Carolina and Florida Restaurant Group, currently totaling over 80 restaurants and growing. We are proud and honored to be a part of this outstanding organization. What more could anyone ask for?”
President Quint Graham, a native of Columbus, Ohio, leads
the large franchise, Carolina Restaurant Group. Quint
started with Wendy’s 23 years ago as a crew member
and worked his way up to General Manager and then District
Manager with Wendy’s International. Shortly thereafter,
he was asked to come to Charlotte, NC to oversee this
large, growing franchise. Mr. Graham has had the honor
of working closely with Dave Thomas and brought with
him to Carolina Restaurant Group the concepts and leadership
Mr. Thomas had instilled in him.
Vice-President of Operations, Chris Mullen, leads our largest franchise Carolina Restaurant Group, Inc. Carolina operates restaurants in the North and South Carolina region. In North Carolina, Charlotte is home to the largest number of our restaurants and branches out to several surrounding areas including Aberdeen, Albemarle, Belmont, Gastonia, Lake Wylie, S.C., Lancaster, S.C., Locust, Marshville, Morganton, Richfield, Rock Hill, S.C. and York, S.C.
In our South Carolina region, Myrtle Beach operates next to the largest number of stores and includes other surrounding areas such as Cheraw, Columbia, Darlington, and Murrell’s Inlet.
